Woman Of Confidence.

Hello good people.
It is my hope you are keeping well.
I recently read the book, ‘Woman of Confidence _ Wisdom for Achieving with Integrity by Pam Farrel’ (A birthday gift from a friend).
The book seeks to challenge your thinking about life by looking into the real lives of specific women. We live in a world where a woman’s beauty is defined by the size of her breast, waist, her behind, colour of her skin, height and the hair length. To be able to embrace one’s body proudly and dress according to your own style it requires a woman of confidence. One who will dress up without listening to what people say about her body and one who is comfortable in her skin.
Here are few quotes from the book that will motivate you-:
“When one door of happiness closes, another opens: but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us.”
 ~   Hellen Keller. ~

“Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.”

“How we leave the world is more important than how we enter it.”
~Janette Oke. ~

“Concentrating on developing your internal character instead of worrying about what others think of you is a priority that pays off.”
“It’s never too late to be what you might have been.”
~George Eliot. ~

“Women are the real architects of society.”
~Harriet Beecher Stowe. ~

“I don’t network; I make friends.”
~Linda Riley. ~

“A woman is like a teabag: Only in hot water do you realize how strong she is.”
~Nancy Reagan. ~

“Reach high, for the stars lie hidden in your soul. Dream deep, for every dream precedes the goal.”
~Pamela Vaull Starr. ~

“To gain that which is worth having, it may be necessary to lose everything else.”
~ Bernadette Devlin. ~

“Heart is required to forge anything. Every great accomplishment is the story of a flaming heart.”
~Mary Lou Retton. ~

“Perspective is all about the ability to see clearly, to see the outcome of integrity, and the wisdom and power to step into that integrity.”
“Far away, there in the sunshine, are my highest aspirations. I may not reach them but I can look up and see their beauty, believe in them, and try to follow where they lead.”
~Louisa May Alcott. ~
