SELF LOVE.
It is February, the month of love and everyone is talking
about it.
When we hear the word holiday what comes to our minds is money, not even the adventure. We believe holidays are meant for the rich and wealth. To some extent I agree, there are places you need a couple of hundred thousand to visit.
But there are also awesome places to visit locally,
regionally and globally with an affordable budget. If you save up, you will be
surprised how much holidaying you can do. No need to wait for Christmas.
Surprisingly, there are up to 18 countries you can visit
with only a Kenyan passport (visa-free); Zanzibar, Malaysia, Mauritius, Panama,
The Bahamas, Singapore, Ghana, Hong Kong, Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica and
more.
To the singles and those who are in relationships and want a break, treat yourself this valentine’s.
Holidaying alone or with fellow singles is one of the best experiences. This avails an opportunity for you to be
yourself; loud, wild, playful and different without someone questioning your
actions.
Take some time off and enjoy yourself. Go over your life;
what you love, future plans, career progress, meditate and recap your New Year
resolutions.
Self-love is asking yourself what you need-every day-and
then making sure you receive it.
You cannot love others if you do not love
yourself.
I do not trust people
who don’t love themselves and yet tell me, ‘I love you’. There is an African saying
which says; be careful when a naked person offers you a shirt.

Love yourself enough
to take the actions required for your happiness…
Love yourself enough
to cut yourself loose from the ties of the drama-filled past…
Love yourself enough
to move on!

Join the love birds and celebrate love.
The plan was a beach walk but my feet could not resist the salty water.
